Barry King
A native of Arkansas, Brother Barry pastors Grace Baptist Church in Wood Green, London, where he also leads the Grace Baptist Partnership Planting Initiative. He has traveled to many countries training men for ministry, and planted more than a dozen new congregations. He is one of the most gifted preachers you will ever hear.
Jonathan Sims
Brother Jono has been the senior pastor of Shelbyville Mills Baptist Church in Shelbyville, Tennessee for over a decade (www.smbconline.com). He is a strong advocate of the local church and a passionate expositor of God's Word, best described as "a slave to the text." This will be the second time we have had the privilege of having Brother Jono as one of our guest preachers for the Encouraged to Endure Conference.
Karl Barnfield
Brother Karl has been in pastoral ministry for over 25 years and is currently pastoring Resurrection Baptist Church in Benton, Illinois.
Tom Nettles
Dr. Nettles is widely regarded as one of the foremost Baptist historians in America. He came to Southern Seminary from the faculty of Trinity Evangelical Divinity School where he was Professor of Church History and Chair of the Department of Church History. He previously taught at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary. Along with numerous journal articles and scholarly papers, Dr. Nettles is the author or editor of nine books. Among his books are By His Grace and For His Glory; Baptists and the Bible, the highly influential volume which he co-authored with L. Russ Bush; and Why I Am a Baptist, co-edited with Russell D. Moore.
